Coach Toby O’Brien is a full-time Pro Scout for the New York Islanders.  He has over 25 years of coaching, managing and building experience at the Youth, Junior, Pro and International levels. Coach O’Brien has presented at coaching seminars throughout the US and Canada, He has coached the USA Hockey National Festivals and was an Assistant Coach on the 2005 National U-17 Select Team that took the Gold Medal in the 5 Nations Tournament in Switzerland.

Coach Ty Newberry has 20 years of coaching experience from Mite to College levels.He has coached 3 different levels of hockey to national tournaments, winning the 2000 National Championship with the Penn State University Nittany Lions.  He has worked and run numerous hockey camps throughout the country over the years. Coach Newberry is the USA Hockey Southeastern District Coach-In-Chief.
Coach Bill Krampf has been a youth hockey coach at every level from Mites to U18 Midgets.  He is an Associate Coach-in-Chief with USA Hockey's Southeastern District and has been an instructor in the USA Hockey Coaching Education Program since 2002.  He has just returned from the incredible opportunity of working with the coaching staff for the USA Hockey National Team Development Program.  Coach Krampf has been instructing goaltenders for 10 years and can still be found between the pipes during various men's games in the area.

High Performance Clinic (HPC) details

Learn from the best!:
Defensemen will find great ways to work on defensive specific skating, balance and puckhandling, in addition to: shot blocking techniques, succeeding in 1 on 1's, having poise with the puck and gap/body positioning.
Forwards will find great ways to work on over-speed drills, the importance of puck protection and how to be strong on the puck, in addition to: tips/rebounds/redirects, touch passes, changing the point of attack and cycling.
Goalies will participate in all of the drills and techniques to counter offensive attacks. Stance/positioning, Skating with optimal movement around the crease, Shot Preparation, Save Execution/Puck Control, Recovery, Transtion, and Communication.
 
A typical day would be like this. Schedule may vary slightly on registration profile:
5:30p-6:30p         All Squirts or All Squirt/Peewee Forwards
6:45p-7:45p         All PeeWees or All Squirt/Peewee Defense
8:00p-9:00p         All Bantam or All Bantam/Midget Forwards
9:15p-10:15p       All Midgets  or All Bantam/Midget Defense
